Abdominal discomfort 8dpo

Hi ladies. My first post on here. So I believe I am about 8dpo, period due in about a week, for last 2-3 days have been having cramps, not AF like, more a mix of gassy, pulled muscle, dull, sharp, moving around in my lower abdomen even stretching up to under my ribs on left side, and today the pain is more focused on left lower side and is at it's most uncomfortable out of the last 3 days I've been experiencing it, but not utterly painful that I cant do things. Has anyone had this, or going through similar? It could be just gas and/or a pulled muscle, but kind of hoping it's a positive indicator... let me know your experiences and thoughts!
