Statistics for Getting pregnant... Different thoughts?

I read a blog today of a woman struggling with secondary infertility. She said her fertility specialist told her that after 35 a woman may have 3 or 4 chances a year to get pregnant. That if she is only ovulating 1 egg a month, then there are months that the eggs wouldnt be viable. I can't remember the exact words, but I do remember it saying that a woman this age only has 3 or 4 shots a year to get pregnant. Im 34 so this really made me think. That means I would have to hit it at the perfect time every month to have a chance 3 or 4 times a year? Crap, maybe I'm overthinking things. CD 18 today and opk was stark white. So I think I missed O. The only chance I have is if I ovulated around CD 13,14, or 15 as that's when I baby danced. So we shall see. No more clomid rx so I think I'm going to go back on Vitex and possibly Maca and see what happens!
