Hey ladies! of your !!!!
My name is Renée and I wanted to start a new and current group for those who finally got their and those that are due in the summer of 2019 and after!
Some info about me,
The Mirena was removed at the beginning of September, and I’m currently 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Im due in August with my 3rd child. This is my husbands first child. We were married at the end of September. Symptoms right now- I only get nauseated while riding passenger or when I’m hungry, my nipples sting but boobs are still the same size, bummer lol. I’ve been bloated beyond belief every since I found out I was pregnant and look like I’m 3 months even though baby is the size of a blueberry currently.
Now let’s see all those success stories! Look forward walking this journey with all of you!
and

@confuzed thank you so much! I've been doing alright just trying to recover from this csection and I'll tell you what I admire any women that have given birth this way! I've delivered all my other children vaginally some with and some with out epidurals and this is sooooo much harder to recover from. But she makes it all worth it:) how have you been doing lately??

Oh my goodness Rooroo- that is so exciting, i am so thrilled for you. She is so precious and what a beautiful name! Congratulations lovely!

AFM- i had my meeting with work, they are not going to provide any pay/benefits while i am on maternity leave but i will have 3 paid days late in my leave to help me transition back into work. As for the Government payment, i will receive 18 weeks paid leave at the minimum wage which will be backdated do bubba's due date which is standard practice, after which i can receive payment for the annual leave i had accrued during the year which will be a little extra help - so not great but not terrible either.
Thank the lord for tax returns!

Hope everyone else is travelling well! x

Roo- Ive heard c sections are such a pain and much longer recovery time, never had to have one so far thank God but all that matters is that your okay and your baby too! Enjoy that little one, I can't wait to share my news with you guys in the next 5-7 weeks.

Samantha - Oh that's great you've got some resolution to the maternity leave stuff, hopefully you and your partner can get by and have enough time with your bub before you head back to work, if you decide too. I know childcare here can be expensive and totally understand why mummas choose/are forced to stay at home and look after their little ones.
How are you feeling so far?

Thanks Confuzed, definitely more calm now that i have all the facts, i only go crazy when i have no info but now i feel empowered and have a plan! I will be having 10 months off initially and go from there.. thank god my partner Matt earns a decent wage and can work extra hours with his dad here and there if we need it!
Pregnancy wise I'm feeling pretty good, just the early internal body clock preparing me for no sleep
How are you lovely?

Confused, I was put on iron pills last week cause I guess mine is low too. Which reminds me, I have to go take mine. They found out you were low because of the way you were feeling or blood testing? Mine was blood testing. However I either have restless leg syndrome or it’s the lack of iron which is messing up my hips and thighs at night time, it feels achy and uncomfortable, like numb sometimes. It’s weird. Do you get that?

Smacked my stomach into the corner of my bosses desk just now, until bubba moves again i'll be living on edge.

@renee, combination of my symptoms which warranted a blood test. As you've mentioned I had restless legs, tired, pre contractions, sore muscles too so I had the iron infusion and episome salt baths helped with the aching muscles. The infusion takes about 2 weeks for you to feel the full affects but honestly best thing I've done.
How are you feeling otherwise?

Afm 34 weeks, 2 sick children at the moment so I'm not getting any rest. Nausea is back and been having a fair bit of Braxton hicks contractions lately and swelling in my feet. Baby is posterior so lots of back pain unfortunatly but my midwife has given me some exercises to do to try and turn the baby.

How is everyone else?

Confuzed- i definitely don't envy you, so far along with two sick chickies to look after. I really hope that baby turns for you and doesn't cause you too much more discomfort.
Afm, i'm 25 weeks tomorrow, i had my appointment with my midwife yesterday, baby is happy and healthy with a strong heart beat but is in breach position as he has been all along, he moves a lot but never where i want him to, hoping he'll get his act together soon!
