Question

Was the timing of my iui too early?

Hey ladies. Quick question. I've got normal 28 day cycles and ovulate on my own. My doctor had me on clomid CD 3-7. I got a solid smiley on my OPK on CD 14, and my doctor insisted on doing my iui THAT NIGHT just 10 hours after my positive LH surge. Was that too early? I'm so afraid that it was.. I keep reading how most women do theirs 24 hours after their positive surge. I'm just trying to learn how the timing of this works.

Nope that's perfect. Sperm can live for days, it's better to send it up to wait than to send it up late. Ur timing is perfect! No worries!
Good luck! =))

Thank you so much! I guess it just made me nervous because almost all women I see have their iui 24 hours after their surge, not 10 hours after. All I know is that my CM told me I was fertile that morning, so that's a good sign. According to the calculator on here it's telling me I didn't ovulate until 3 days after my iui. So that's why I was nervous. But I guess we'll see!
