Trying to stay positive

So I should be somewhere between 7-8 weeks along now, and I have no idea what’s going on. I have confirmed pregnancy with a hpt and blood test from the doctor and I have an ultrasound scheduled on Nov 20th I’m just worried that something isn’t right, I have no morning sickness, I have nothing but occasional sore boobs and a few mild cramps here and there. I’m definitely not used to feeling this great during pregnancy. Before now I had been nauseous and it has seemed to fade. I just am worried since my MC in February that something is wrong and I am going to go to that ultrasound and get horrible news I’m hoping for the best but I have no way of knowing what’s going on until then and that’s still over a week away.

I'm sorry for your loss in February and Congrats on your current pregancy.

It sounds like it's what you're doing, but tough as it may be, try to stay positive. Lack of morning sickness doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. Best you can, try to enjoy being pregnant, because that's what you are right now.

I hate giving advice to stay positive because I also know its nearly impossible. My last pregnancy was a threatened mc then a loss following a loss the year before. I think I was constantly worried about the worst happening because I thought it would prepare me if it happened, but it didn't make me feel any better when it did.

Good luck. I hope it's a good appt. You always have us ladies on here to help you with a kind word.

Just remember that every pregnancy is different and try not to worry. I know it's hard especially after a loss, you question everything. I really hope everything goes well for you

Nausea in pregnancy is not necessarily a good sign. It is very common and nothing to be overly concerned about but I have heard health professionals say it is often a sign of mineral deficiency so maybe you are getting good nutrition and supplements and so you're body has got everything it need to grow a healthy baby. I hope you get great news on November 20th!

I know exactly how you feel! With this pregnancy My only symptoms were random waves of nausea that went as quick as they came and sore breasts that come and go. This pregnancy is also following a loss for me at 6 weeks in August. I spent this whole time stressing and wondering why I didn't have any symptoms and if everything was ok then we had our first ultrasound at 11 weeks and we have a happy little bean with a heart rate of 175bpm and everything is perfect! It even dances and waves hi! Have faith that everything is ok mama! Keep us posted!

I feel like its completely normal to have those thoughts after the heartbreak of a miscarriage i remember my pregnancy after my miscarriage i was spotting and i told my fiance I'm having a miscarriage i know it.. I felt it in my gut and the doctor comes in saying the baby is okay.. I was so wrong. Now my baby is almost 3 i was terrified my whole pregnancy. And i didn't have any morning sickness with that pregnancy and had terrible morning sickness with the previous pregnancy so they were all different. Keep your head up think positive thoughts were all here for you!

Thanks guys...its great to have a way to vent without feeling like your crazy, its nice to have group of women who are all going thru the same things and having each other for support. I know each pregnancy is different and I know everything could be perfectly fine but its just so hard not to think about the bad, I really try hard not too. I am starting to feel a little better since I have not had any bleeding or spotting so I am really hoping this one was a sticky little bean. I am just hoping to see a tiny little baby for that ultrasound and everything stays good from there. Its also hard because I don't want to tell family or anyone until I know whats going on. But I also want to yell it out to everyone that we are having a baby! I told my 4 year old yesterday and she is very excited! I don't want to break her heart if something happens but I couldn't keep lying to her when she kept asking if there was a baby in my belly. My almost 3 year old doesn't seem to quite understand yet. I'm just trying to be as positive as possible!
