Antibiotics when TTC.

Today I had to start taking Ciprofloxacin for the UTI and I am just wondering if it is safe to still try for the baby this month. My ovulation is due on 3rd of July and I will end my antibiotic therapy on the 5th of the July. Is it safe to try anyway? I should be able to book an appointment for the 2nd of July and ask my GP about it but I am still curious if any of you have any experience with antibiotics and TTC.

I don't see why not. I know some meds can delay ovulation not sure if antibiotics are among them, but it won't effect the quality of the egg at all. And you wouldn't have implanted by the time you're done with them so they couldn't effect the baby if you do conceive.
