Hi! First you need a bbt thermometer. I got mine at CVS. I have read, and i did it, to start on cd2. Take your temp at the same time every morning. Keep your thermometer by your bed so you dont have to move much to get it. Dont get up, drink, or anything. Make sure you slept atleast 4 hrs. Getting up, drinking, and all that can affect your temp. I added it to my daily tracking in this app. In folicular phase (before ovulation) it is a lower set of temps. O day you should see a dip in temp. Then in the luteal phase (after O) the temps will rise to a set of temps higher than before ovulation.
I hope i gave you some info you can use. I googled how tp properly bbt and there are lots of stuff tgat pops up. Good luck and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
