Hey! I have read several things, since I get 2-3 days of +OPKs every cycle. Ive read your body could be "struggling" to ovulate, therefore the LH surge lasting longer. Or usually if it's just 3 days or so, I've read that you could be detecting the surge on the way up, at it's peak, then also on it's way down. Five days seems a little more excessive than just a few days; I'd just see what comes of it. It could just be a 'fluke' thing this cycle. Take note of it, and if it happens again next cycle (if there is one), I'd bring it up with your dr and see what their opinion is. Good luck!!

Thank you! I checked again today and it’s still positive. I also did a CB digital ovulation stick on 1/16 just to see and it said peak on that day and then low on 1/18 but have still been getting strong positives on the other tests. Not sure what to think. I’ve had EWCM this week too so I’ve had other signs of O but still confused with the tests.

That is really bizarre. I would be confused, too, if I were you. And frustrated! I think you're doing the right thing by continuing to write down everything. I don't think medically you have anything to worry about-- maybe your body is just having to 'gear up' for O longer than usual. In my opinion, as long as your getting +OPKs and ewcm, I'd keep on BDing.

My longest stretch of positive opk's is 8 days. I temp so I know I O'd the same day as the first pos. It only ever happened to me on one cycle (since 2012) and didn't end with a BFP. I really wouldn't waste ur tests! Positive opk's mean nothing after the first one and will do nothing more than confuse and upset u.
Good Luck! =))
