Aaannnnd guess who's coming to town! Not fucking Santa Clause, that's for sure! Ok, so get this, I haven't seen MIL since November *insert heavenly sound*. She did something to her leg and can't sit or walk for long periods of time. Well, well, well...don't I live 3hrs away (5, with the way they drive...no joke!)! Awesommme! So Christmas rolls around and she can't make it, so FIL & BIL come. I'm still not a huge fan, but can tolerate them without needing to semi-amputate my tongue. :p
Fast forward to February, they called a cpl weeks ago and MIL was still in pain, sooooooo, they can't come to visit. Awwww! Well, fuck me, she's now drugged up and coming today. There's no fucking way in hell her high-as-kite ass is holding my baby. She can barely hold herself up on a good day, she's not putting a baby in her arms. Did I mention that Carston is 5 months on the 28th and no one has held him yet? Yeah, they're too scared to ask me. Mission accomplished!! I knew my resting bitch face would pay off one day!! =))
So yeah, we'll see how it goes...I'm not looking forward to it...but fuck yeah I'm looking forward to the "be nice" shopping trip I get for staying civil! Poor hubs!
Update on my ovulation. I'm pretty sure I did, on Monday. Later that evening everything started to change over then dry up. I'm still not able to say 100%, without temps, but 99% is good enough for me. I almost guaranty I won't get a bfp, we did bd 4.5x on the Saturday nite, but it was pullout. Altho he didn't pee in between sessions, I doubt there was enough to do anything. Geez, if i can't get a bfp easily with a full "load", 5 little stragglers chillin' in a tube, won't do shit lol! I'm ok with it. Now the wait for my 1st PPAF. Yay for prescription ibuprofen!! =))
On a side note, hubs picked up a cpl beers after work and brought home a new kind. It's a grapefruit beer. Sounds weird and gross, right? Omfg it is so yummy! Totally a summer beer! It's called Waterloo Grapefruit Radler. It's only like 3.1% alcohol too so u don't have to feel bad for having one. I def recommend trying it, if u like grapefruit.

Grapefruit Radler - sounds delicious. Radler is a very Bavarian tradition - so refreshing with lemon flavor. Have you tried Belgian Lambic "Kriek Boon" (Cherry flavor)? Heavenly......unfortunately, off limits for me. My brother owns a specialty beer store back home, so I get to try the most interesting things.
MIL - can't offer any advice. MILs are unpredictable and temperamental beings. May be offer her a double charged Radler.....you never know what might come from it :)

Lol tcinks, it's not that I *dont* let anyone hold him, it's that they're too scared to ask. Resting bitch face works wonders! I also have a history of letting her know who's boss of MY children, so she won't just pick him up w/o asking, and won't suck it up and ask, either. It's actually kinda funny, tbh. Not my problem! =))
Mozart, I'm very basic with beer. I like Bud Lite Lime, and Labatt Blue. Hubs likes to try everything under the sun. He's always bringing home these beers that I can only describe as thick and heavy. Very strong tasting! I'll write down the cherry one and see if we can find it here. Sounds yummy too!! =))

Star, sneaky bitch got her paws on him. So she was sitting on the couch playing with Braelyn, so I figured she was distracted so I could run to the washroom. I come back and she's pacing with my baby. Poor Carston looked terrified cuz she was holding him in a way that he couldn't locate a familiar face. She put him back in his chair after about a minute. Idk if she saw a look (I give 'em w/o knowing) or felt her life flash before her eyes, but she put him back! Ugh!
Ppl need to realize, just becuz he's ur grandchild, nephew, whatever, becuz U want to hold him, u have to consider the baby. It's scary for them to be held by strangers. It's even scarier when they see themselves getting further away from mom or dad becuz the stranger has taken them to wander the house. She seems to think that becuz she's "grandma" that she has some sort of right to do what she wants, no regard for how she makes the kids feel. Rotten woman...she'll outlive us all!

That's awesome, Ashley! So glad u put ur foot down and let her know who's mom/boss! My MIL gave my oldest a strep infection when he was 4 days old. I honestly don't know how my husband and his brothers survived with her parenting skills. Crazy loon!

HA, okay so I have a few comments, how do you do the deed 4.5 times!! And go ahead!! I was always getting crap about our sex habits, but look at your with three kids going at is 4.5 times. LOL!! Rabbits!!
And your MIL, that lady is crazy. I have heard the stories, sorry she came but you have lucked out not seeing her this long, you knew this day would come. :)

Hey now! FIRST, u guys have sex almost everyday, sometimes more than once (I feel weird saying that..feels unnatural lol!). We managed to do it 4.5x in a day, but that's prob it for the year hahaha jk. It's def not an everyday occurrence.
It worked out great that day tho. Kenny went to bed early, Braelyn and Carston go to bed at 8 and are dead to the world til 8:30-9 the next morning..it would've been silly to not jump all over that shit (no pun intended). I'm sure the wine egged it on a bit too. Damn wine lol!
I have been very lucky with not seeing the loon. Now that FIL is retired, I do see visits getting more frequent. Hope I'm wrong! I'd really like to be wrong!! =))
