Starting Metformin for PCOS
I went to my doctor today because I have been having severe acid reflux for almost 3 years now. While I was there, we starting talking about PCOS. She said that she thinks it's time that I try Metformin to help with my hormonal issues, even though I have been ovulating. So, I took my first pill tonight. I'm kind of nervous about the potential nasty side effects that can occur, but I guess it's going to be what it's going to be.
I'm really hoping this is going to help me lose weight so I can feel better about myself overall. If I could just lose about 20 pounds, I think I could feel fabulous! I also hope it helps me get pregnant, of coarse!
