So many symptoms, no period, neg test?

Ok, I am 19 yrs old and have never given birth. but to start out.. I have very irregular periods. My last period was April 3, and my cycles are usually 37-45 days. I get my period for at LEAST 5 days and its very heavy and miserable. About a week ago, I spotted very light for only 2-3 days with no cramps or anything. I did have unprotected sex each day from the 24-27, but I have no idea when I ovulate. I have just been using a phone app to see when my periods are "supposed" to come and it gives me a guess. It says I was supposed to ovulate on the 24th so i assume it was at least around that time. After I spotted last week, I have been nauseous every day, eating more, been moody, tired, and yesterday and this morning I threw up after taking vitamins. Normally my stomach is very strong. so that was odd. I took a pregnancy test (First Response) this morning with my first urine and it came out negative. I am sure I have a very very high chance of being pregnant. But I would really appreciate it if you could ask me any questions or give me any help with figuring out my cycle or when to test next. I understand there are chances of hcg levels being different with different people and at different times, etc. but I am not sure if I'm even past due for my period yet. Thank you. tell me what u think :)

Hey hun! It sounds like you and I are in the exact same boat. Have you ever seen a Reproductive Endocrinologist? It sounds like you may have PCOS. That seems to be a common denominator for a lot of us. It sounds like you've done everything right and have a good chance at that BFP this month. I would recommend a digital fertility monitor. I bought one for myself last year. It's called an OvaCue Digital Fertility Monitor. It is pricey but worth it. You can't get this information, even seeing a fertility clinic. It uses a little spoon-shaped probe that you put in your mouth for a few moments first thing every morning. It reads your electrolyte level to tell where you are at in your cycle. It tells you a week ahead of time when you are likely to ovulate and which days you have the highest chance. There is also a vaginal probe that is optional but if you have uncertainty regarding your cycle, it's worth it's weight in gold! It's inserted for a few moments in the afternoon or evening and will tell you when it's confirmed that you have ovulated. It can also tell you if your hormone rise and fall is normal.
Now as for HPT testing. I am one of those women that doesn't test positive right away. Last time I didn't know until I was 8 weeks. If I had, I would have been taking prenatal vitamins or at least frolic acid and the malformation in my daughter's diaphragm may never have happened. We lost her at birth and have been actively trying for 16 cycles now. You mentioned you're already taking vitamins so unfortunately, the only thing you can do is wait. You can have a Beta HCG blood test performed. It will tell you not only if it's positive but also what exactly the hormone level is. Each HPT uses a different level of hormone to turn positive. The Internet cheapies use 10 mlU and digitals use 100-150 mlUmfor that BFP. There's a great site called peeonastick dot com. They've experimented on all types of tests and can give you information you didn't even know you needed! Your doctor can order the blood test or you can do it yourself, online. You go online and pay about $45 for a test. Then you choose an independent lab close-by to you and go have your blood drawn. About 24 hours later, you'll get an email with a link to the results. It's super easy.
I want to wish you luck and lots of baby dust. I hope that even though it's delayed, that we both get that BFP this cycle. If we're going to be sick, we may as well be pregnant! LOL finger's crossed. Feel free to add me and ask questions any time. I'll help if I can.
