BYOB: Lets Make Some Babies!!

Hi ladies!!

Lets start things off as usual.... with an introduction/update!

My name is Joy
I am 28 (29 in about a week), and dh is 29
we've been together 10yrs
Got married and bought a house together in 2009
From Canada
I'm currently a housewife, but hope to soon be a stay at home mom

I got pg back in the summer of 2010 then m/c'd at 8 weeks
We ttc for 8 cycles after the m/c, (10 months)
We have a nursery room all set up waiting for baby

I got a BFP on June 30th 2011
Had a missed m/c on Aug 18th 2011
Since then I have been rushed to the hospital 3 times for excessive bleeding (once via ambulance cause I passed out)
I have had 2 emergency D&C's, 2 Folley Ballooons, 3 blood transfusions of 2 bags each, & a Hysteroscopey. (Not to be confused with a "HysterECTAMY")

I Finally got back to TTC in Jan/Feb 2012 and on March 21st I got my BFP!
I am currently almost 11 weeks pregnant!
My first ob/gyn apt was Wed April 4th 2012
He put me on progestrone and asked to see me in 2 weeks
My next apts were April 19th 2012 & May 3rd
At our May 3rd apt (at 9 weeks5 days) we heard the best sound ever - our little one's heartbeat!!
We're going for our 1st non-diagnostic u/s on May 15th!
My due date is Dec 1st 2012!

This is truly an amazing group of ladies & I really hope our string of luck (& bfps) continues!! ladies!

xx
Joy

Joy: I'm so glad you enjoyed your birthday! And I watched the u/s. OMG! So adorable! Baby was so bouncy! I loved it!

Hello Melissa! Glad you've joined our fabulous thread! to you!

Gummy: not sure about how that works if you didn't ovulate. Sorry, hopefully its just a late implantation and you'll still get your bfp!

Linda: That's the tough part when people know you're ttc they bug ya about it! The longer it takes the harder those comments can get, so hope you're feeling symptoms soon!

Bumble: Mmm ice cream! Strange that those ladies didn't know how to hold a baby when they are moms?!

Jill (is it one L or 2 L's by the way?): I'm sorry about your fight with df. Uhg fights are flippin' lame huh! Can't really give my opinion on it without knowing your man though. BUT he does sound like he loves you and is excited about you becoming pg, so I would assume that he's commited to you based on that! Hopefully things will smooth out and you'll feel peace about it all soon!

AFM: Well outside of my faint lines I got today, I was feeling nauseous & tender bbs today which I didn't feel w/ my last 2 pg until I was 5 or 6 weeks. Hopefully this isn't all a big ol' tease. I'm taking another test tomorrow. I feel pretty good about it though. I really do "feel pregnant".

Hi Ladies!!

Jill, don't let a fight discourage you. I know it's hard to not dwell upon things but you know him more than anyone else. A good relationship is built on trust, so allow yourself to feel that! Don't give up on him. I know sometimes we fight and everything comes spiraling down and down. Just breathe, relax, and talk to him when you've got your head clear again. It will all work out.

Joy, I just watched your ultrasound - not gonna lie, I wanted to cry!! I've never watched an ultrasound, ever. And that was amazing!! Plus, I'm SOOO happy for you!!!!!!

Nicole, Fingers crossed for you BIG TIME!!! Sounds promising

AFM, CD..6 almost now? STILL HAVE AF. I used to have 6-7 day periods before I ever started taking the pill....I'm certain this is my body's way of the hormones being back to normal. Though my periods were always regular, that doesn't mean my hormones and everything were quite right yet from coming off of it. I know my body's back to normal, and I know my month is coming!!

to everyone in the TWW and about to O!! I'll be there in a little over a week!

Cheers!

Hi all
Just a quick one to say hi, I'm sick, covered in spots and AF just arrived! But on a positive note, early af means next ovulation should be comfortably when dh is home and appointment with specialist is less than a week away!! See, every cloud has a silver lining!

Jill - I'm sorry you are upset with your DH. Like the others said, you know him best, just go with your gut feeling.

Krunchie - Sorry your sick. Hope you get well soon and are able to catch that egg this cycle.

ABC - Glad you think everything is getting back to normal. And I hope this is your month!

Sydnee - I'll have to check your hpt. Sounds promising.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

AFM - AF showed up today. I am a little relieved because I know my cycles aren't too far off the norm. Usually I have 28 - 29 day cycles and this was 30. Now on to waiting to O. Tick tock...

Gummybear: Welcome to the pre-O tick tock! (Ugh - right?) At least there are things to do to entertain ourselves while we wait besides obsess - FUN things! BABY MAKING things! hehehehe (THEN we can obsess @ TWW - haha)

Sorry I don't always post much. Right now I am only able to be on at work and work has been crazy lately. Hoping for more time in the evenings once finals for my DS are over and my husband is on 2nds...

Thinking good thoughts for all of you and wishing lots of stick babydust/beans to all!

Hi ladies!

betsy - How are you doing? Where are you in your cycle right now?

Jess - So sorry the witch showed up, hopefully this cycle will be your lucky one with an extra sticky little bean!

Katie - Well if af had to come I am glad she came at a good time! Your apt is only a week away and dh will be here to bd!! So exciting - hope this is your cycle!!

abc123 - Thanks sweetie! I teared up a bit as soon as the little one started moving, couldnt really see the heartbeat she was showing us (now I can when I watch it - i have crappy eyesight) so a moving baby was just so exciting cause it meant all was good!
Sorry to hear af is still sticking around... hopefully it means your hormones are regulating and your body is getting ready for you to make a baby!!

Nicole - I know!! I totally didnt expect baby to be so bouncy, I wasnt at all prepared for all that movement, but was so happy to see baby doing so well!
Enough with these darn faint lines I wanna see a strong bfp from you!! Keeping my its coming soon! What dpo are you now? Hope we hear some good news soon!!!

Jil - Sorry to hear about your fight. If your engaged to your df, you should trust him. Unless he has ever given you a reason not to you kinda owe it to him I think. Just because he is good at lying to others doesnt necessarily mean he is lying to you. Hope it all works out for you.

AFM - Nothing new.... just doing some laundry then heading out with my Mom. She is going away tomorrow for about a week or so, so we thought we would spend the day together

xx Joy

YAAAYYY Nicole! Congrats!!

Joy: LOVE that you have a bouncy baby. So much fun and so glad things are progressing so well.

Me: Still waiting on my unwelcome visitor to leave - wish water would work like it does in the movie! I think this is the last day, though - very light and intermittent so I expect the old witch to be moving on shortly. After that, I will go with the "BD EOD" plan until, well, until I either POAS and get a BFP or the hag comes back! LOL

I don't really track with BBT or OPKs right now since we are still early in the process. I try to keep track of CP & CM and calendar days (assuming 27-29 day cycle, at least that's what it looks like right now). I am also drinking a bit of green tea, a cup of organic whole milk and LOTS of water every day and and trying out evening primrose oil and mucinex this month to try to counteract the risk to CM by both my BCPs (just maybe my body got out of the habit of doing it right) and my previous cone biposy... Of course, to really tracking CM/CP RIGHT NOW, but will be keeping tabs soon.

Still, it's a LONG TIME 'til I get to the point of testing again! Ugh!
