This same thing happened to me this cycle, I know I ovulated on the 21st but about 6 days later I had EWCM again. It was only brief though, by the next day it was gone. From what my Dr has told me it's just from the shift in hormones and is perfectly fine-Good luck to you!

It's just an estrogen surge, very normal. U most likely would've had a positive opk on or around that time too, also normal! No worries!

Clear egg white cervical mucous is very very good indicator of ovulation. You may have ovulated later than you thought.

@jessicatidwell I mean I guess my bbt chart could be wrong but it was pretty clear - is there a specific change after conception?

There is for me, but I think it more depends on the person. For me, after I get true ovulation EWCM (VERY stretchy between the fingers) it is gone completely by the next day. If I get EWCM any other time after that and before AF, it's the same consistency but it does not stretch nearly as much.
