Period Length... How long is mine?

When calculator asks how long is your period, what do I say? I have one heavy day, 2 medium and one-two light days, and then very light/spotting that lasts for a week. So, how long is my period???

Just count the flow days, not spotting.

That's what I thought... But then my spotting slowly lessens lol Like I have very light "flow"/ spotting but then real spotting also for a few days. I'll try to figure this out haha
