Question

Strange taste in mouth at 5 DPO!

So last night when I was making dinner I popped a piece of raw broccoli in my mouth and was shocked at the taste! It was INSANELY bitter. Not like normal broccoli bitter, but so off-putting and like my mouth was on fire. It did not occur with anything else I ate and went away after a minute or so. My husband tasted the broccoli and said it tasted fine. Had another piece today and it tasted normal again. I have never experienced this at all! Could it be a possible pregnancy sign (metal mouth/strange taste in mouth)?

I don't think it could be unless you miscalculated your days. Things like that are caused by hormones, and those don't increase until after implantation, which typically occurs 7-10 days past ovulation. Good luck!

Thanks, but I actually read in this article (http://www.livestrong.com/article/225282-a-metal-taste-in-the-mouth-in-early-pregnancy/) that hormones related to pregnancy other than hCG (which can only be detected after implantation) can affect a woman's body as soon as she conceives.
