Yes!! I just had this happen to me ... but turned out to be a real BFP :)
I (impatiently) tested on 5dpo, knowing it was too early and there was a second line definitely visible. Tested again from same urine with two more Fairhaven tests and both totally negative. 6 & 7dpo same tests, all neg (both the dip sticks and midstream ones - I buy them like candy, lol). 8dpo another faint line, all other tests from same urine neg. 9 dpo, all tests negative. 10 dpo, ANOTHER faint line on the fairhaven test, broke out the good stuff - FRER to double check these cheapies and there was a faint line on that one too! Then confirmed by a CB digital :)

I know for sure that the 5dpo and probably the 8dpo ones had to be false +'s, it was just too early. I can't even say evap b/c they showed up in the time frame while still wet! I am 14dpo today and actually just ordered more because I want to see a

Ooops, I got cut off! I was going to say, I am dying to see a real positive on one of those tests!

They are super sensitive, so maybe you are on your way to your BFP?!?! Good luck :)

Yeah, I originally tested on 5 dpo and 6. Got stark white results. 7-9dpo have gotten a very very faint line that on any other test would probably be a evap. I reread the directions for this brand and it actually said that any line, regardless of color should be interpreted as a positive. I was just thinking that I would be able to whip out that Frer and really see the positive. I am hoping this will happen tomorrow morning. I have some Progesterone from my last pregnancy that I have been taking for a few days just to be safe and also B6 because I thought I have a luteal phase defect. Congrats to you Maggilu76!

I hope it's just because they are sensitive, but I just don't trust them. I also go through them like candy! lol

Im having the same exact problem!
5dpo- bfn with 3 hr hold on fairhaven dip strip
7dpo- faint positive FMU
8dpo- negative FMU
9dpo- another faint positive fmu and at night.
11 dpo- today, same faint positive. but negative on two frer 's
Not sure what to think.
Period is due monday, will update then!
Also ive been reading up on these tests, they apparently have a problem with false negatives, not so much with false positives/ evaps. Hoping this is it!!

Well good luck to both of you, I am hoping that it's picking up low levels of hcg that FRER can't yet detect! I can't wait for the new batch of tests to come, I don't know why, but I just really want to see a DARK line on one of those things!! Keep us posted!

Thanks. I actually ended up getting a decent faint positive around 4pm yesterday on a IC, but unfortunately have not been able to get a any second line last night or this morning. I'm afraid that it's most likely a chemical pregnancy. Had this happen last year in April. Got a few days of what I considered evaporation lines starting from 8 DPO, and by 11 DPO no line at all. Too bad I can't change my question to ask if there is any coming back from faint positives to no line at all. Hard to imagine a line just showing up again. Idk.

Hi AlieCat, my stats were the following:
6 DPO - Very very faint positive/Evap
7 DPO - Very very faint posiitve/Evap
8 DPO - very faint positive/Evap
9 DPO - Very faint positive (FMU) / faint positive (afternoon- came up in three minutes) / negative (10pm)
10 DPO - Negative (4am this morning)

I don't know if I should even bother continuing to test. AF due in 6 days so in general, very early results to begin with.

Btw, I think you guys can see my latest test if you click on my user name. I don't know.
Well actually this isn't the last one this is the one from yesterday at 4pm where I though everything was ok.
