You are not alone.. I'm 41 and TTC. My DH and I dont have any together, but have 3 between the two of us 25, 19 and 10. I had a TR in May and am starting Clomid next cycle, so we shall see what happens next.

torontochick, I know the reason for my high prolactin levels, I just really thought I had resumed ovulating since my period has returned and I'm getting positive ovulation tests and all the physical signs of ovulation. I'm more worried that by the time I DO start ovulating again, that 0.37 AMH will be a big fat zero.

Essemkay... It is not impossible to get pregnant with an AMH of 0.37. Also, it does fluctuate slightly. My first test was a year ago, the Amh was 1.4, which was pretty good. Two or three months later, they took it again and it was 0.54 (wth?). In February, I had it tested again, it was 0.9. However, my RE said this was the level that was normal for my age. Sigh.

Not sure what will happen now after the m/c. I have a feeling that my hormones are completely out of whack. I gained several pounds this last cycle, particularly on my belly. I still look preggers, but it's belly fat, which I know is typically a symptom of (pre)menopause :(

AFM... Bleeding stopped yesterday (after 10 days). Now only light brown discharge (tmi). Did an HPT this morning and the line was faint. Still there, but last week it was there right away and very dark. So hcg is going down, yay!

Essemkay - You're suppose to hear back from your doctor today...curious to find out what they tell you after the recent results since it appears you've only talked to a lab specialist??

TSimmons -- Good luck w/ the clomid...there's a forum for that on this website. Since I did the challenge last month, I joined that one and it is helpful.

Toronto-you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. don't have to be pre menopause to have belly fat :) hang in there hun. I know it is so hard to keep our hopes up and then have them dashed over and over.
