Why does my luteal phase change so much?

I have been TTC for 9 months. My luteal phase is all over the place. I am temping and using opk to pinpoint ovulation, but my range is 10 days to 19 days. I temp at the very same time and my chat always show up positive and I get positive opks. Why the long range?
