Question

My breasts are so sore this month around ovulation but never normally sore at all. What does it mean?

We have been TTC for 2 years now, I know I'm probably clutching at straws but I'm due to ovulate around now, (I've now stopped doing ovulation tests but we baby dance every other day, I do ovulate though) my breasts are so sore, like unbelievably painful, this never happens around ovulation, what could this mean? Could it mean that ovulation this month could mean Its really strong and it could be my month or dies it just mean nothing?

I read that breast soreness is due to the rise in progesterone after ovulation, so it could be possible you have ovulated already and have maybe produced more progesterone this month or are more sensitive to the effects ... possibly :)

I get sore nipples the day after ovulation and it normally lasts a couple of days, I only started getting this about 4 months ago (never had it the first few months I came off BC).

Hope this helps a little x

Thank you, they are still sore 8 days later after what I can only assume was ovulation, although one breast is worse than the other x
