Question

Is there a point where First Response tests stop getting darker?

For the past 5 days, I have had the same lines, not getting any darker that I can tell. It worries me because I had my first positive at 8 DPO and it steadily got darker up until Sunday. It's a strong positive, but I guess I expected it to get darker until the control line disappeared.

I've never had the control line disappear. Actually, at some point, I've found the test lines get lighter. The Hook Effect.

Wow, I had never heard of that before! I just read a bunch of threads about it and that sounds totally plausible. Thank you!
