Question

Does anyone have Hypothyroidism?

I'm going to get my Thyroid levels checked in the morning. I think it could be why I have such irregular cycles and keep having recurring ovarian cysts. What should I expect from the appointment and blood work?

Naw. My thyroid levels were 22 when normal is 1 or below and I have no cysts. My irregular cycles were a hormonal imbalance from insulin resistent PCOS. I have yet to have any cysts though just irregular even with my thyroid levels down to 1.8. I'd say if you're going to have your thyroid checked see if they can do a hormonal panel with your estrogen and testosterone levels just to be sure. As a side note not saying it's not possible for your thyroid to be causing irregular cycles but it could also be other issues :) Best of luck I hope your levels come back okay!!!
