TMI thick Vaseline type stuff inside the opening of my cervix?

So I had a normal period and my cycles are about 35 days lately the past 2 weeks after my period I have been having water like discharge and a lot of it. I haven't been feeling my cervix for the past cycle or 2 but I decided I think I should today and tmi but my cervix had a substance almost Vaseline like and it was a thick layer inside or covering the tip of my cervix and it doesn't come out if I swipe it. My cervix is very soft I don't know if it's just the stuff covering it or if it actually is. I don't know I have never had this before.. Help
