Low AMH but PCOS??

I've had a blood test that has shown my AMH levels are very low (3 on our scale) but I have PCOS and the doc is puzzled by the result as it should be much higher and wants to re test. Also, when I had an internal ultrasound, the other doc said he could see lots of viable eggs for IVF?
Is this possible? Has anyone had low amh with pcos or is the blood work wrong? Really confused!

I would wait for your next cycle and retest it...actually you can test AMH anytime, but give yourself a few weeks gap. I just read about someone whose results were first, 0.9 and when she restested, it was 2.5
