Question

So sick of all this spotting!! Does anyone else struggle with this during their tww? Advice plz.

Ever since ttc starting 9 mos ago I have spotting EVERY month when checking CP during ttw. I use CP and CM as part of my trc routine to determine my "normals" throughout my cycle and it has helped a lot. I usually catch the spotting at least 3-4 times during the tww and it never makes it out, rarely even onto toilet tissue so I don't know if I would even notice it otherwise. I am frustrated and heartbroken everytime this happens. For the first couple months I would try to rationalize it as IB or having a sensitive cervix..It happened 5 dpo when I was getting swabbed at OB (checkin for YI) and she said..maybe. IB-yeah right, I wish! Today at 7dpo it happened again, slightest amount of pink blood. I just broke down and started bawling. I am so done. I am 8 days from af and am already sure I am out:( So, I am NOT checking CP or CM anymore after ov-PERIOD. Can't take it. But is this a sign of a problem? Anyone else experience this? Hormonal imbalance or aomething? I need help plz

If I were you I'd find a really good doctor if your current OBGYN doesn't give you enough info or doesn't seem to help! I know that it is hard during this time. And I feel for you. I am sorry you have to go through the bleeding. It must be VERY frustrating! :( My only advice besides going to a specialist or your current OBGYN is to just maybe not check your CP or CM and just BD when you feel like it or when you know ovulation usually occurs for you. You will probably end up getting pregnant pretty quickly once you go to the doctor to see what's going on and just maybe "take a break." I hope that you get your BFP VERY soon and good luck to you! :)

Hi there,

This happens to me every month and been for a very long time. Well, after years of searching for a doctor that would take me seriously, this is what they have found: I do have an hormonal imbalance. High FSH (hormone that tells your bodie to produce antral follicle which in turn, one will turn into an egg), Low antral Follicle count (at my age, I should have between 15 and 20, but I only had 6). In my case, this is caused by endometriosis (but in some cases its a sign of early menopause). Endometriosis affects my hormone and cause spotting. Spotting can also be caused by low progesterone or an infection. My suggestion would be to get a doctor that would send you for the cd3 blood work (FSH, LH, Estradiol) and cd21 blood work (progesterone). Other than that, try to find a doctor that will take you seriously, I ended up at a fertility clinic 4 years later and have to go thru IVFâ?¦. Donâ??t wait, although spotting can be nothing, it can very well be someth

2008 - Laparoscopy for endometriosis 4 years of TTC (I suspect endo is back due to symptoms but no doctor will beleive me) July 2012: referred to Fertility Clinic August 2012: Test results are back High FSH, Low AFC (could be caused by endo) As I though, the endometriosis is back (take that doctors, I was right, you were wrong) Male factor (perfect count, they are just too stubborn and too lazy to swim properly, LOLL) August 2012: Moving on to IVF
