Is it possible to ovulate after quiting birth control if I have always had 28 day cycles?

I was put on bc after my son was still born, not to regulate my cycle but to keep me and my hubs from conceiving too soon.. So, I quit my birth control last month at the end of the pack and this is my first month ttc. I want to know if it is possible that I will ovulate so soon after coming off bc. Do you know of anyone who this has happened to?

Lots of people get pregnant when they only miss one pill during a cycle so definately possible but don't get frustrated if it doesn't. Sometimes it just takes time for your body to readjust.

This was my first month off bc also and I had my ovulation pains & +opk right on time. I also have 2 friends who got pregnant their 1st month off the pill! HTH! :o)

My doctor says you are more fertile just after BC...so good luck :)
