Question

Dip at 12DPO...no hope?

I have had brown spotting very lightly since 9DPO. I am currently 12DPO and my period is due 12/26. I had a dip of .4 this morning. I know that's a bit late for a BBT dip. I have heard most women implant 6-10DPO and that it can take one to four days to complete and another two to three days for a BFP. I would imagine if it was fertilized, it started trying around 8 or 9DPO with the spotting I experienced. And would finish 12 or 13DPO at the latest. Do you experience a dip when it starts trying or when it finishes? A dip could be meaningless to right? Should I give up hope? Has this happened to anyone else?

Some women dip later, like around 12-14 dpo. I have a few friends who had very light spotting (mostly brown) when AF was due and thought it was AF, but it stopped and a few days later they got an HPT. So there is hope. But realisticially, it is a fairly big drop so it may just be AF. But my fingers are crossed for you!

My temp fell again big time, so I imagine AF will be at my doorstep today. Oh well.
