Question

Using venous blood sample on HPTs.. what do you all think???

So the best HPTs I could get here are the ACON home pregnancy test kit, they come with a little pipette and you put three drops in this small area. Now, the packaging said something weird, it said that "for urine wait for 3 minutes for serum wait for 5 minutes".

I did something REALLY desperate. I took a tiny sample of blood from my vein (we had syringes at home) and put three drops on the test.. and it came out negative.

Do you guys think that's it for sure? Beta is day after tomorrow, should I bother going?

HPT's don't necessarily recognize a level less than around 25, anything over 5 is considered positive for the most part. I don't know how accurate using blood on a HPT would be. I'd do the beta, it might just be too early. Good Luck!
