Test, no don't test, no test, no don't test!
I know how you feel! My suggestion: if you are pretty confident that you are 12dpo, then test with FMU, so that would be tomorrow morning at 13dpo. Many tests are accurate, but you always hear many stories of women who do not get a bfp until 17dpo, 23dpo, or even later.

Just like Chocoholic72 said, I didnt get my positive until 24 dpo with my first pregnancy. I would wait a few more days to test, then test with FMU.
