CM like EWCM but only Day 9 and -OPK, anyone else experience this?

I am on CD9 and I have stretchy EW-like CM but cervix is low, soft and open plus had - OPK. Is this just Mother Nature's way of fooling me into trying too early. If I try to BD too early then DH loses interest by the time I am really O'ing. Help or words of encouragement?
