How do I allow others to view "My Countdown" page?

By default your "My Countdown" page is private - only you can view it. To allow others to view the information and charts you have posted follow the steps below:

• Click the "Setup" link next to "My Countdown" Page (under My Countdown in the right hand column).
• Scroll down to the "Privacy Settings" section.
• Check the "Allow others to see "My Countdown" page" box and click "Save Changes".

To customize your TTC story, which appears on your My Countdown Homepage, you will need to use BBCode (A set of tags, similar to HTML).

All text, images and links must abide by the Terms of Use

Bold, Italic and Underline

Bold: Enclose text in [b][/b] tags. Example: [b]Test Text[/b] will display as Test Text		Italic: Enclose text in [i][/i] tags. Example: [i]Test Text[/i] will display as Test Text
Underline: Enclose text in [u][/u] tags. Example: [u]Test Text[/u] will display as Test Text		Combining tags: Example: [b][u]Test Text[/u][/b] will display as Test Text

Text Colours

Enclose text in [color][/color] tags and add the color value to opening tag.

Examples:
Color Name: [color=blue]Blue Text[/color] will display as Blue Text

HEX Value: [color=#C7201C]Red Text[/color] will display as Red Text

Images

Enclose image URL in [img][/img] tags.

Example: [img]http://www.example.com/test.jpg[/img] will display

Links

Enclose URL in [url][/url] tags.

Example: [url]http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com[/url]

will display as http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com

OR

Enclose Link Text in [url][/url] tags and add the link url in the opening tag.

Example: [url=http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com]Link Text[/url]

will display as Link Text

How do I add a ticker to "My Countdown" page?

Visit the tickers section of the site and select the type of ticker you would like. Enter all the requested information and "Generate" your ticker and code.

You will need to select the BBCode code option. Select and copy the bbcode to your clipboard then visit your "My Countdown" setup page and paste the copied code into the "My Trying to Conceive Story" text area. Click the "Save Changes" button.

I want to link to "My Countdown" page from another website or forum. How do I do this?

First, be sure you logged into your account. Next visit the "Manage My Account" section (find this under the "My Countdown" heading in the right hand column). Select the Link to "My Countdown" option at the bottom of the list.

You will find a number of image and text options for linking your page. Simply follow the instructions listed on the page. Happy linking!
