Fertility Monitors Work!!
My husband and I conceived on our first try in November 2008, but unfortunately that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. After the miscarriage my normal "clock work" cycles were a bit off. I was frustrated with OPK's and decided to break down and purchase a fertility monitor. We were very blessed to have successfully conceived on our first cycle with the Fertility Monitor. I'm thankful I've been given this gift again so soon and look forward to seeing our baby boy/girl in November 2009!!!
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past 2 years. The first year was just trying to BD around the time of ovulation thinking that it would never take this long to become pregnant. After that was unsuccessful the 1st year I decided I would get checked out. All was okay so they tought timing was the issue. So the next 5 months we did the OPK's and tried. At this point we were getting very frustrated, so DH decided he should get checked out. His sperm count came back really low and morphology was really bad. Decided IUI was our best route. After 1st failed IUI and 21 day progesterone test decided next cycle would be both IUI and clomid, 2 more failed cycles. In the meantime husband started taking Fertilaid for men and 1000mg's of Vitamin C. By February IUI the DH's sperm had dramatically improved, did 2 back to back IUI's. We both felt very good about this cycle until the 21 day progesterone level came back at only a 10. Bummer all the previous cycles were at 15 or higher. Still checking this website daily to see if maybe I had any symptoms that may indicate pregnant. The only thing that was a big difference for me was an extremely runny nose. Decided to test 11dpo, negative, thought we were out. Then AF like cramps started, but no bleeding for 2 days. Decided to test again 14 dpo, very, very faint positive. Waited a couple of hours and what the heck might as well try the digital....pregnant! We know it is still very early but are so extremely excited. Thanks to this site for keeping my hopes up!

pregnant after 2 and a half years ttc!!
we have been trying unsuccesfully for 2 and a half years and i had about given up.
we were given 3 mths of clomid 50mg to try after being diagnosed as having pcos and being annovulatory.
our first 2 clomid cycles failed and it grew less likely that i would conceive i was devestated!!
this last cycle i really thought would work and when i felt af was coming i cried my dh even had a dream we were having a baby girl which made me cry even more.
but as it happens af didnt come and i got a faint positive on 9 dpo so i bought a clearblue digital and on 10 dpo i got my positive.
this baby is so longed for wanted i cant even describe how i feel!!!
its amazing!! and maybe well get that baby girl??????

Thought it would never happen
I had a feeling about this cycle from the start as I was experiencing symptoms very shortly after ovulation. The headaches were terrible and didn't seem to go away. I didn't want to believe that I was pregnant though as for the last 5 months, I've convinced myself I was pregnant when I wasn't.
I used the temperature, checking my cervix and cervical fluid, as well the ovulation strips to pinpoint my ovulation. With all those measures, I am so thankful that we have concieved.
I have a little girl who was born March 23,2007 and she was concieved so easily. This time I was on a different birth control that took a bit longer to get out of my system. My cycles were so long at first(44 days) and eventually they settled at 34 days. I am so excited about having another child.
I got my positive at 14 dpo. Best of luck to everyone else.

Never Give Up!
My husband and I tried for over a year before we got our BFP. It was a long journey full of tears, dissapointments, and anxiety. However, the day we got our BFP, it was all worth it!!! For the month of November, we had a big trip coming up so we were going to take it easy with our efforts of making a baby. We agreed that we just wanted to have fun, and not worry so much about all the "baby making stuff." We were traveling abroad with a tour group for a week in China over the Thanksgiving Holidays. I noticed that I was constantly tired throughout the trip. Every chance I had, I would fall asleep - whether it was on the bus, in the hotel, or on a flight. I thought it was just jet lag due to the time difference. The fatigue continued after we returned home. Again, I thought it was due to the jet lag and my lack of enthusiasm for returning to work. I didn't have any other physical symptoms except for the extreme fatigue. A week goes by and I realized that I was 2 days late with no AF in sight! When we got our BFP, it was the best feeling!!!! So, don't give up! I know how frustrating TTC can be, I have been there. It will happen for you. I think the difference for us this month was the fact that we really just enjoyed eachother and had fun! I bought some uhmmm, "toys" for us and I really think that made a difference! Instead of babymaking on our mind, we were just enjoying eachother. Good luck to everyone!!
