My fiance and I are 28 years old and trying for our first. I was using a fertility monitor (clearblue). We finally got success on cycle #6. It was very difficult having to be patient over that 6 month span. But I'm so happy that we concieved!! I never thought it would take two healthy twenty-somethings that long to concieve. I assumed it would be instant, I was very wrong and it was tough to take. But now I think I will appreciate everything that comes with this pregnancy and baby, all the good and bad, even more since it took so much to get there. I wish you all good luck and lots of patience!!!

15	Pregnant after trying for 2 months

Hi All. I just wanted to give you my story about the road to conception. I quit taking the pill (Yasmin) in June of 2009. We figured that it would be possible to conceive in July since we got pregnant with our 1st child that quickly 3 years ago. In July I was sure I was pregnant since I had nausea and chills and a high temperature for over a week. I also craved salt which is a big "no no" for me. Well, I spotted the week before my period (like with my 1st child) took the pregnancy test a couple of days before my expected period which came back negative then subsequently had my period. The only reason I thought maybe I wasn't pregnant was the fact that my breasts did not hurt - although every pregnancy is different so shouldn't rely totally on past experience. Well this month things felt pretty normal although I did have a weekend of eating everything in sight. Otherwise I thought it was another unsuccessful month until my breasts started hurting last weekend and my "pooch" seemed to stick out more and I couldn't fit into a pair of jeans. But then again, after a weekend of gorging on food I thought maybe that was it. For the past 3 nights I've had lots of dreams and woken up at 4:30 am and haven't been able to go back to sleep. I've had no exhaustion or fatigue which is strange since with my daughter I couldn't stay awake to save my life. Also, I've had no nausea or cravings for any one thing. Well, at 14 DPO (Sept 15th) the test came back positive! So hopefully everything goes well. My daughter's response this morning to the news that she is going to be a big sister, "Go away. I'm sleeping". I'm sure she'll be excited once she wakes up!

Yay!!

Well, DH (29) and I (26) have been married for 16 months and found that something was missing from our home. I went off the pill in April and we started TTC in May. My first couple of cycles were quite erratic to say the least being 19-26 days. Then the last couple of months they have ranged from 31-33 days. I finally was able to pinpoint when I was O'ing. My symptoms were extreme gas and bloating, sore nipples and tiredness. I has PMS like cramping around when AF was supposed to come. I was completely convinced that I was not pregnant as my breasts were not sore at all and my cramping was so intense. We are so excited to welcome this blessing into our family!! Baby dust to all!!

11	We can't believe it!

I've been off of the pill for about 5 months now and just recently my husband and I decided that it was time to start trying to conceive. We just can't believe that it happened the first month we started trying!!! We didn't try any fertility helps, just natural. I've been taking my prenatals for a month now, so maybe that helped, I dunno. I'm just so ecstatic!!!

7	Tried for 6 months after being on the pill for years!!!

My husband and I just found out we are pregnant!!! Such an incredible feeling after so many months of trying and negetive pregnancy tests!!! My earliest symptom was implantation bleeding. About 9dpo I had incredibly light spotting that was only noticed on the tp. I also had very slight cramps or uncomfy twinges. Today (14dpo) I thought for sure I had started my period because I had cramps again. But they were a little bit stronger. I took the test and it was a very sure positive!! We are due in March!!! I am so excited, but surprised that I haven't had any early preggo symptoms other than the spotting and slightly tired. No sore breasts or nausea. But I guess that is still to come!!
