I need some guidance

Can someone shed some light on my situation. I have 28 day cycles like on dot. I used opk this cycle and got my solid smiley face on 4/23/23 (cd 19) Today is my 28day no period, not spotting, I do have some white cloudy thick cervical mucus and I’ve had some cramping on and off since yesterday. Is it possible that I ovulated a little late and my period is going to be late or could I be pregnant. I don’t think a test would show yet. My mind is taking me in every direction ahhh

I’m reaching out to everyone here to let you know that I just had another baby after TRYING TO CONCEIVE for 6 years and also to share my pregnancy jorney story! I am so happy to announce that at 40 years of age, I gave birth to a healthy and beautiful twins baby girls on Oct0ber 29, 2022, My husband and I are from San Anthonio TX. In January of 2014, our third child, a beautiful baby girl, was born perfect and healthy. We couldn’t have been happier; our family of five felt perfect and complete. A few months down the road, as we were considering birth control options, the doctor informed us about Essure. This non-surgical, non-hormone, cost effective option seemed perfect. We went ahead with it, never imagining that there would ever be any reason to make us reconsider. Why would we when our little family was just right, and we were so happy?A little over a year later on October 9, 2015, our perfect baby girl left us to walk with Jesus. With very little warning or symptoms, her appendix burst and her tiny body succumbed to sepsis very quickly. The doctors and staff worked so hard to help her, but our little angel flew to heaven. I can tell you there is nothing worse than losing a child. It hurts so badly that it truly feels as though your heart is breaking. After several months, our boys began to question us about having another baby. The thought of a new precious miracle in our lives grew in our hearts quickly, and we began to look at what our options were. When I had gotten the Essure, the doctor had been very specific that it could not be reversed. With our first phone calls, we were told our only option was in vitro fertilization (IVF). As we researched that, it just didn’t seem like a great option for us. However, I stumbled on a story of a woman who Dr Agbola helped to conceive a twins baby under the same condition as mine. so i decided to put a try and talk toed him because this has been my greatest problem in life, words will not be enough to explain what this man did for me,i know there is someone in the same condition and you feel there is no way, i’m also giving this hint to couples who are struggling with INFERTILITY or had their TUBES TIED. i urge you to talk to him. This man is the best solution to every single mother around the globe. distance is not a barrier, he will surely make your dreams come through. talk to him today Via: (hrdesk2225@gmail.com)

TTC Journey and How we FINALLY got BFP - after 1.5 years

It was quite a sad realization when month after month we got BFN and after a few months I started to research. Based on what I was able to research seem to be that I had PCOS. No doctor would see me, since we didn't TCC for a year.
I tried everything: vitamins, pre-seed, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, I can go on and on and nothing seemed to help. At the year mark of TTC I made an appointment with another OBGYN (since mine stopped taking our insurance)
Going in to the doctor I was sure she would diagnose me with PCOS and was hoping she would have some sort of solution. Quick ultrasound showed that one of my ovaries is showing signs of PCOS, but she had to run the blood work. Blood work came back normal and she suggested we continue trying; at the same time she agreed that based on the symptoms I was having I probably have PCOS.
All of my instincts told me something is wrong and I have expected more tests, but she insisted on us continue trying.
After few months, I came back for a consultation and options I was given:
1. Take birth control for 3 months, then stop and TTC
2. Laparoscopic ovarian drilling
I have never in my life taken BC and the idea of it terrified me, so I ruled that out.
When I suggested Chlomid or Femara, she said they wont work and those are the only to options I had.
I remember walking out of OBGYN office completely confused and scared.
Nothing that the doctor did made sense to me, but I kept telling myself, that she is the doctor and she must know what she is talking about, BIG MISTAKE!
By that time we change our insurance and my old OBGYN was accepting it, so we decide to have a second opinion. But if you have TCC any time, you must know how exhausting it feels to wait yet another cycle and we want to rush time and fix what ever is wrong as soon as it humanly possible, so I was still strongly considering the surgery at that time.
my original OBGYN run several excessive blood works, ultrasounds, send my husband for test - everything came back normal. My doctor agreed that I might have PCOS based on how one of my ovaries looked on the ultrasound, but she was not convinced.
We did 3 rounds of Chlomid (unsuccessful)
Then she wanted me to do hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to check my tubes and uterus before we considered more options.
The test must be performed before CD10 (at least at the radiology place that did it for me), so we had to wait till my next cycle.
Going to my appointment, I was feeling all sorts of emotions. I hopped that everything was OK, but at the same time I hopped for answers, I of course researched about and was prepared for all sort of pain and possible answers that they could give me, but I could not have thought of what was going to actually happen.
To my surprise and something that I did not prepare myself at all, they could not run the test! What?! The radiologist has to insert small catheter, to inject the dye, but she could not do it!
Once she was done trying, she advised me that my OBGYN had to dilate me and then I would come in for the procedure again, she also mentioned that this might be the reason for infertility.
We had to wait another month, since my appointment was on CD9 and they would not schedule me again, even though my OBGYN would squeeze me in to her schedule for dilation.
Per my OBGYN, while she did the procedure of dilating me, she said that it does look like I might have cervical stenosis (the passageway through the cervix is narrow or completely closed).
Right after the procedure, I went to have HSG done, which was successful and came back with no defects found.
That cycle we got pregnant :) we lost the baby, due to chromosomal dis balance, but this is another story.
Good Luck Ladies!!! Never loose Hope!

Success story

8th Month TTC

I have lightly been TTC for 17 months. July 2021 started to get serious with OPKs. I have a pretty regular textbook cycle. Except I have super heavy bleeding and produce milk midway after ovulation ontop of cramping causing me pain. About 5 months using opks, I investigated vitex to manage the cyclical breast pain and milk production proceeding ovulation and went to bbt to pinpoint underlying thyroid issues. 2 months after taking vitex, the breast pain went away and the production dropped significantly. I also called clinics to start infertility workup as my bbt was super low. (35.90 before ovulation and coverline 36.10). I had an appointment the 27th of January where I was given paperwork for 3/4 day labs and 20-22 day labs. Imaging of complete pelvis and breasts ordered too. Dr advised to stay on vitex (month #3 starting) and a schedule of every other day starting on day 10 of cycle. OH had set up a SA for February too.
This month (#8) I am pretty sure I was sick with C*vid and had taken 2 weeks of mucinex religiously. I also used a menstrual cup (FLEX IS AWESOME!!!) and a new form of fertility lubricant (clean love as Pre seed was awful and sticky. Clean love has 0 smell, 0 residue, and my OH said it felt more natural than Pre seed). We did not follow Drs schedule. I think one day, day 12, we dtd 2xs. I ovulated later that month on CD 15 confirmed by bbt and opk but this cycle, I had TONS of EWCM. I honestly dtd when it felt right and left it at that. February 10th, I received a positive hpt after not feeling like myself. I was on a trip and I love planes. This plane ride as awful and I was super dizzy. I also was in training for work and had to do a physical where it included running. My energy levels during that run tanked and I got dizzy too afterwards.
Well, no imaging or bloodwork is required now and I'm cautiously waiting until March 24th to see a flickering heartbeat and little small embryo with 2 arms and 2 legs. Hpt's are getting darker and that makes me happy.

Success story

We are having twins!!!

After 5 years TTC. We found out I didn’t ovulate naturally. We began seeing a fertility specialist. I started with Letrozole 3 cycles no luck. I had an HSG, and Hysterscopy done within the 10 month period. Started back on Letrozole still no luck. Then we took a break. Once we met with the specialist we to decided that we were only going to try IUI one time then rethink our game plan. Started Letrozole 7.5 CD 3-7, ovidrel CD 13, and IUI #1 was July 11th CD 15. Found out I was pregnancy via HPT only 8 days after testing out my trigger. It was official July 26. I was pregnant. First HCG was 419.7, then 48 hours later it was 1217.3. I just knew something was up my levels were tripling. Then August 11 I go in for my first sono at 6weeks 3 days, and there’s twins. We couldn’t be more excited. Twins run deep on both sides of our families so this was a little expected, but definitely a amazing surprise!!!

Success story

After 10 years of trying and 10's of thousands of dollars, Prednisolone was it

Hi -

I have never written one of these before nor do I know if I'm doing it correctly or if there are rules but I felt like I needed to share my story.

I am 40 years old and the last time I got pregnant naturally was 10 years ago. I ended up terminating the pregnancy as it was far from an ideal time in my life and I knew I would not be able to handle a child at the time. Fast forward 4 years later, I was engaged and we were trying to conceive. We tried naturally and never once got pregnant. We finally visited a fertility clinic on Park Ave, supposedly one of the best in NY. The doctor suggested we first try IUI and, if that didn't work, we could move on to IVF. We did IUI several times and NOTHING.

We then moved on to IVF and went through the egg retrieval cycle and came out with ~15 viable embryos (my eggs were good!). We did a fresh transfer but it didn't stick. We did two more transfers after that and they both resulted in BFP but both ended up in miscarriages. Soon after that our engagement ended as did our journey to get pregnant.

By way of background, I would generally consider myself a healthy person but in my 30's I started developing allergies to a number of things, pollen being the most intense. By the time my late 30's rolled around springtime was almost insufferable. I got weekly shots for 6 months to build up a tolerance to pollen and it never worked. I was just as allergic 6 months into treatment as I was the day of the first shot. In addition to my allergies I had developed IBS, eczema, underactive thyroid, etc. I knew I had autoimmune issues but it was nothing I couldn't handle and my issues came and went.

Now back to my pregnancy journey....

About a year after my engagement ended I started dating someone. We have been together for 3 years now and have never once practiced safe sex and never once did I get pregnant. I finally called my doctor a month ago after reading a story online about how prednisone can be useful for some women with autoimmune issues. I asked him if he could write me a prescription for low dose prednisone so I could see if maybe this would help me. His response was "Absolutely not. I don't think that's what your issue is." I felt pretty defeated and we ended the call. Then I found a website online where you can request certain medications and someone will review your request and, if warranted, write you a prescription. Given my allergy issues I was able to obtain a prescription of Millipred 5mg. I started taking 5mg in the morning and 5mg in the evening starting two days before ovulation. I continued every day for two weeks. Don't you know after 10 years of infertility issues and 10's of thousands of dollars a $20 prescription got me pregnant.

I'm only 5 weeks pregnant at this point so who knows if this will end up being a viable pregnancy but so far my numbers are great and just getting pregnant is HUGE for me. I just wanted to share this story as I felt utterly hopeless for so many years and never once did one of the fancy Park Ave doctors recommend this to me. You know your own body best and for anyone who feels like they have autoimmune issues this might be worth a shot. It is literally the only thing that's gotten me pregnant naturally in a decade.

Best of luck to all. I know how hard it is to deal with infertility and who knows where my journey ends but I feel blessed to even have gotten this far. x
