I had a miscarriage in December and on 2/15 my HCG was at 17, so this test today would be a new pregnancy, right?

No doubts there! I had a m/c on 12/7 and it took a very long time to go down to zero with beta tests. I was at 17 on 2/15 and was testing neg on hpt, so pretty sure this is a new babe! Wow!
