I have spent the past 5 years trying to convince my hubby to have a baby (my daughter is from a previous relationship). He's put it off and put it off, using any and every excuse in the book.

My best friend found out she was pregnant in October of 2011 and he finally agreed that we would "not try but not prevent".

Nine very long months later and we haven't had any luck.

At the end of May, my hubby had to go to the hospital with chest pains. It turned out to be more heat/weight related than his heart. Thank the Gods! But as we were leaving the hospital parking lot, my dear hubby finally told me that he's ready to actually "try".

So now we're actively ttc and I couldn't be more excited!

Here's hoping for sticky baby dust!
