All my life, something was wrong. I began to balloon in weight despite being active and eating relatively well at the age of only 6. I got my first period about the age of 9, and it was never right. At age 10, I began to notice a lot of hair falling out, and I was growing sideburns. By age 16, I had a full beard that had to be shaved every day. By 21, I had lost a significant amount of my scalp hair. My periods were completely gone.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006. Then, though, times were very tough, and I couldn't afford to have the doctor help me with conception or with my condition as a whole. It went totally untreated until 2010.
I got my first natural period in over a year in July 2011. That was when I began charting, using OPK's, and timing intercourse. It was the official beginning of our TTC struggle.

On 2/27/2012, after having received several positive results from the internet cheapie tests and a positive on a First Response test, I went to the doctor and was confirmed to be pregnant! :D
