About Me / My Trying to Conceive Story

My name is Gretchen and I've been married since October 24th, 2010 to my fabulous, wonderful husband! On September 28th I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl whom we named Violet Georgine, after my two grandmothers. We lost her three days later to SIDS, and with her went large pieces of our hearts as well. We miss her every day, but our strong faith, loving family, and amazing church community are getting us through it. I know without a doubt that I will see and hold my beautiful baby again. Families truly are forever.

We are starting to try again for our second baby, with the hopes of eventually having a large family. It's hard very difficult and everything reminds me of the joy we lost, but we both feel strongly prompted that this is what we are meant to do. We are very hopeful that we'll get good news soon!
