HCG More than doubled

Hi all,

I'm 5 weeks pregnant as of yesterday (11/1) and my HCG went from 476 on October 27th to just under 6,000 yesterday (11/1). Before that it was only doubling.

10/23: 80
10/25: 190
10/27: 497
11/1: 6,000

Twins do run in my family on my fathers side (he has twin brothers and he also has twin aunts). Do you think I could possibly be pregnant with twins? The dr didn't say that, but my HCG way more than doubled every 48 hours.

Hard to tell.. Mine did not look way out when i was carrying IDENTICAL twins... they thought my single boy was twins as my double time always tripled/quad... Yours looks good. They can take a peak and check now.
Your doubling time was still around 33 hours so thats good!

Thank you! I have an ultrasound scheduled for November 14th! I'm excited! Can't wait for it to get here so I can see my baby and hear the heartbeat! I'll be 7w6d, I should be able to hear the heartbeat then, right?
