First HCG Number

I just got my first HCG number and it's only an 80. She said that that should be okay because I'm newly pregnant, but I feel like that's a low number. My last period start date was September 27th so right now I'm 3 weeks and 6 days pregnant.

Did anyone else get a number around 80 and have a healthy baby? I'm so scared after miscarrying 2 years ago.

It depends on when you actually ovulated and implanted. The dating for pregnancy is based off last period and NOT the date you ovulate..

Its more important to watch doubling times.. they can watch for ectopic as well. Your numbers are to low to show up on a sono right now. WHen is your second draw?

I believe I ovulated on October 11th or 12th. The blood draw was done yesterday, October 23rd. So I was either 11 or 12 days past ovulation.

Once the egg is released and fertilized, it can take 5 to 7 days to make its way to the uterus. So, your numbers should be fine for this early! I am not a doctor, nor do i play on on TV... get your second beta and see what the dr says..

Did my hcg yesterday...15dpo and it’s 976.63. My last cycle was 9/27/17 and based on OviaPregnancy app I’m 3 weeks 6 days. I ovulated on the 8th. My doctor said numbers may vary due to actual implantation/everyone’s body is different. So even though we have similar dates, our implantation may vary. I know how you feel. Had a miscarriage in March and I'm walking on pins and needles.

I wouldn’t worry if your doctor isn’t worried. I’ve seen other ladies post hcg levels similar to yours around the same dpo. Congratulations!!
