Confused ectopic suspected

Had severe pain from 2am. I tested positive 4days ago. My missed period was only yesterday tested then but only faint line. I thought maybe chemical pregnancy.
Woke up at 2am today in severe pain.
Rang 111 for advice as no better after rest and painkillers by 2pm. They sent an ambulance. Whilst there I tested positive but bloods were quite love hcg. Given transvaginal ultrasound. Couldnt find embryo but saw cyst on ovary. After scan I started bleeding but not like a period, Very fast and browny pink. Was offered methotraxate but not keen chose expectant management (what a cold expression) Dr felt safe with obs to send me home with suppository painkillers, have to get bloods done again Weds. Anybody else had this situation? Feel num and lost and very difficult to explain to loved ones.
