Accuracy of HPT's and Docs tests

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else had been in my situation... I'm almost 42 and been TTc for about a year. I miscarried last summer and now 5 months later.. I took 2 early result HPt's at the weekend, one on saturday and one on sunday..my af was due saturday.. both positive :). So this morning both i and my husband raced to the docs to get it confirmed.. and the docs urine test was NEGATIVE :(

So to cut a long story short the doc took a qualiative hcg blood test sample and we sit and wait....

Has ANYONE on here had 2 or more positive HPT's then a negative urine sample at the docs?? Was you pregnant?? Did you have a good outcome?? Sorry but i'm feeling a bit crazy and a lil paranoid x
