LATE PERIOD, TTC AFTER ENDOMETRIOSIS LAP, HYSTEROSCOPY + D+C

Hi ladies,

This is my first post and I am really needing some advice. I've been TTC for 1.5 years and after finally having my severe period pain looked into with a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy + D+C, I've been diagnosed with moderate-severe endometriosis.

I had the procedure done on the 17th February (CD9) and had all of the superficial endometriosis removed. The deep endometriosis still remains. I had very very light spotting for about 24 hours after the procedure, but nothing like a period.

I've called my specialist asking whether this type of procedure can delay ovulation/period onset, to which he said it shouldn't. I had what felt like normal ovulation pain/CM on 3rd March, which would have been a week later than normal. It was the night before this that I BDcd (specialist request to assess the pain after surgery), but assumed that I had ovulated the week before as normal. I wasn't tracking my cycle due to the pain killers/strange sleeping hours during recovery so I can't be certain as to what is going on atm.

I guess my question is, has anyone who has had a LAP, HYSTEROSCOPY + D+C with endo removal experienced delayed ovulation/period after the procedure? I had a BFN this morning but have no usual pre-period symptoms like normal (swollen breasts, general bloating, etc.) except for a general hot/heavy feeling in the usual area.

If anyone could please let me know their experience, it would be amazing. I've spoken to all of my friends/family who have had the same procedure, but as they were not TTC at the time, they were all placed on BC straight after.
