Hi,
It's usually an imbalance of hormones that cause a short lp, if you were approaching meno then ovulation would stop or be erratic. I had a lp of 8 days and went on vitex from CD01 until ovulation and within a month or two my lp was 11/12 days. I also used Macca root to boost my fertility in a safe way. It takes longer to get pregnant in your 40's but I'm 45 and 6 months pregnant so don't give up. I got pregnant naturally using only natural supplements.
