TTC 43, perfect hormone levels - 7th cycle

Met the love of my life 4 years ago and last fall we decided to try for our very own baby. I have 3 with my previous marriage (21, 13, & 7) I actually had NO idea it would be this hard and the odds were so bad! I've never had a hard time getting pregnant or thought I couldn't...

Had my hormones tested... Hormone levels look fairly normal: AMH 1.57 (not encouraging) progesterone .3 naturally but 14.8 with supplements, perfect & low FSH/ LH ratio, Estradiol low, factor 1 growth hormone normal, testosterone normal, TSH 2.7. Normal length cycles (28-32 days). BBT shows ovulation every month....

Concerns:
1. HSG showed left tube occluded at opening (proximal end) but I've never had PID or other gynecological concerns - but did have a c-section with my first baby (21 years ago)... May repeat HSG to make sure it wasn't a spasm. I do have pain when I ovulate on the left.
2. Low AMH, low progesterone

I had a Merina IUD that we removed in May 2016. We started charting temps right away, but didn't seriously decide for a baby until September. Saw an RE last November that was so discouraging for my husband that I thought he would give up. The RE basically said we had a 2% chance of conceiving after 3 IVF egg retrieval cycles and frozen embryo transfer.. Very bad odds!!! He didn't really talk about any other interventions or help...

Hubby doesn't like IVF odds vs. cost so it's off the table!!

At this point I'm in my 3rd month of Clomid days 3-7 (1st & 2nd months were 50mg, 3rd - 100mg). I also take evening primrose oil, cq10, folic acid, fertile CM, estradiol days 7-12, and progesterone 3DPO until I start my next cycle.

I am pretty sure I ovulated today on both sides... Lots of BD this cycle during "fertile" days..

The thing is, last month I had stretchy CM for 3 solid days plus part of the 4th.. Month before I had it for two days, this month, very little... Maybe a couple of hours today... But we BD'd - he was sweet enough to come home at lunch ????

We really want this baby, but I've read every Google article written & it seems we have little hope..

I've considered acupuncture, Chinese herbs.. I'll do just about anything... Hope I can hear positive stories... We need hope, for sure!!

Hi. Conrats on your decision to have a baby with the love of your life. I'm a success story & ttc #2. We had a healthy bany boy 27 monts ago i in our mid-40s with MFI, PCOS & one tube spasming or partially closed, hypotroidism, low vitamin D, a tilted uterus, 2 failed fresh IVFs, a few failed IUIs & I think it was the 4th one that worked AFTER: We both went on supplements (including ubiquinol not ubiquinone, a diabetic diet-most important-, drank filtered water, I walked 30 daily, wore compression socks for increasing blood flow & had acupuncture x4 months & took some nasty biphasic tincture herbs they had me take. I also used a heating pad & massaged my ovaries & uterus from the day after AF left to O. I took vitex to help balance hormones, gave up gluten, dairy & sugar, took pycnogenol & B complex by Garden of Life, plus others on my acupuncturist list. I had a chemical the month before my rainbow pregnancy. I was. ..ok...am addicted to this site, another one called naturalfertilityinfo.com & a book by Lewis (The Infertility Cure). We tried a few IUI cycles last spring/summer but I wasn't exercising, sometimes took my injectables wrong (busy with a toddler) & not taking the slew of supplements. We're now ttc on our own & are expecting to be pregnant by end of June since we're restarting almost everything we did the first time. It will happen for us both! Feel free to pm me.

Hi there

I'm 42 and currently 24 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child due in June. I'm turning 43 in April.
I also have a 2 and a half year old that was conceived naturally in Jan 2014 (and a 21 year old from a previous relationship). He was conceived 2 months after having my mirena IUD removed and I'd had it for 5 years and thought he would take longer to regulate my cycles.

We started ttc again in July 2015 but suffered a miscarriage in Oct 2015 and then had a chemical in Aug 2016. I'd been temping and using OPK's and was getting really despondent.
We ended seeing a fertility specialist in Sept last year as I'd been ttc for over 14 months.
We both did testing and my AMH was 10 (I think) not in the green fantastic range but not in the red poor range, kinda in the middle orange range. Everything else was ok.
She recommended stopping temping and using OPK's and making sure we BD'ed from cycle 9 - cycle 15. We were going to do some medicated cycles but at the end of September I pregnant. Though didn't know until the 10th Oct which was pretty much a year to the day I first miscarried.
All the best for ttc journey and I hope you get your BFP asap.
A friend who's 44 years old recently conceived naturally, so definitely hope for you :-)
