Hi ladies, I'm jumping in here to say hi and send my best wishes for babies or a sticky in 2017. I am 40 + 3 months and hubby and I have been trying since wedding 2 1/2 years ago with no success. We're going to our first RE appointment in a few weeks and I am anxious and excited and I should have gone sooner but thought we could do it on our own. I think we've tried everything we could. We had 2 pregnancies but both ended in miscarriage. Anyway, good luck and positive vibes to you ladies.

So how is everyone doing? I'm officially out this month. We will try one more month and then we have an apt with our dr to talk about doing some testing to see what's going on.

I'm out this month too and I'm on cd3 right now. Ugh! I did start taking my temp last month so it saved me a lot of stress and money taking a bunch of hpt's.

Yep I'm cd1. I have been temping and it really does tell you a lot. ... I started Prenatal Vitamins last month and my temps and cycle were very different. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but it made for a weird month of knowing what's going on.

What does everyone else try, or do, or take and why?

I'm taking prenatal vitamins, CoQ10 plus I take fiber gummies and hair skin and nails gummies.
I also use the clearblue advanced ovulation tests just to make sure everything is lining up correctly.

Hi Everyone and welcome sunaet0625 on this thread. I can't wait to go for my fertility consult with second specialist this coming Tuesday. Just anxious and ready to plan IVF if that's what is in our destiny...

Other than that, I am not counting on anything this cycle. Unfortunately CBLM never gave me peak reading and after getting more than 10 HIGH Days I stopped testing. Although the cheap internet OPK did turn positive once and so we did do BD around the time but now I am really confused by my whole cycle. This has never happened to me in last 4-5 months that I have been testing. But if I calculate from OPK turning positive then I'd say I'm roughly 7dpo.

I do take CoQ10, DHEA, Prenatal, Vitamin D. I also started on thyroid medication to bring my levels down to 2.5 from 3 for IVF. All in all I'm taking a lot of stuff and I worry that may have confused CBLM this cycle. Not sure but oh well...

How interesting we both never got a peak this month. It seems wacky, but i've done some reading and it doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary.

I'm thinking of getting some cheapo's to do like you have done and during the HF readings test at night. Can you only get those on the internet? I haven't looked.

I know lneist001! That was bewildering yet not uncommon. I am not sure where else to find cheap OPKs, perhaps Dollar stores? But you can find them on amazon pretty easily. Here are few links:

The thing is that you may wanna buy something that despite of their price being low, they still perform well. And these strips are very well reviewed.

I ordered some cheopo's online and they should arrive here in a day or so. I feel because last months cycle was short and O most likely occurred early, I will start testing a little earlier than what the box recommends just in case. I've also decided to check CM and such just to have yet one more confirmation when my body is shifting.

Have any of you use preseed? I've seen some people talking about that on here in other forums. What are your thoughts? I'm all about keeping it natural and whatever, but it's got me thinking, what would it hurt to have something like that to help those little guys along the path. HA HA.

lneist001 - I have used preseed but I don't always use it. I used it 9 years ago when I got pregnant with my daughter and that was the first time I had ever used it. I kinda feel the same way you do about it.... why not help out the swimmers a little bit. I don't think it hurts anything.
