It was explained to me by my doctor that if fibroid is on the outside wall of the uterus it's compleatly safe and harmless. If it's on the inside, then there might be complications. I have a 5 cm fibroid on the outside wall and I am currently pregnant.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! How far along are you?
How long did it take you to get pregnant? Do you notice your fibroid at all?
I have a ~8.5 cm fibroid that is part subserosal (outside) and part intramural(inside?). I have another one that's about 4cm and subserosal that I was told I don't need to worry about. I am not sure what you mean by inside? Inside the uterine cavity?
