Spontaneous Ovulation?? PLEASE help. So confused.

I had a mc in October, and Hubby and I decided that if we didn't conceive again by December, we'd take a break at the beginning of the year. Well, I'm still not on the pill, so we're pretty much ntnp. Just a few days after the end of my period, still almost a week off from when I should O, I had ALL the symptoms I normally have whenever I ovulate (cramps, ovary pain, etc). We BDed while that was happening, and now I'm well after when I should have ovulated on my normal schedule, and I'm having totally different symptoms from when I normally ovulate. I'm not so much cramping all the time (though I do occasionally) as much as my belly is just sore, and in the middle more than where my ovaries are. Also, my bbs are VERY sore. My nipples especially, but they're really, really sore. Just my shirt touching them hurts. I'm so confused. We JUST started our break, and I'm trying not to stress, but I'm really confused. Has anyone had a spontaneous O and conceived? How often does that happen and how does it work? Any help, advice, or words of encouragement would be appreciated.
