16 dpo BFP - but I still have an open hard cervix?? Worried!

I got a bfp at 12 dpo. I am now 16 dpo and my cervix is still hard and open. Does that mean something's gone wrong? Should I be worried? Has anyone else had this experience, and what was the outcome?
