Time to get serious! (TTC)

I really need to buckle and down and get serious if I want to conceive. I'm 33 and DH is 37. We've been trying for nearly 4 years. About 1 1/2 of those years, we were seeing a fertility specialist. I have PCOS which I knew that beforehand. I o'd while taking Clomid but could not conceive. The doctor finally said he thought I had issues with my cilia inside my tubes. Pretty much nothing could be done except IUI. Doctor didn't want to do that because I am overweight. Told me to lose weight and then come back. That was almost 3 years ago. We decided to quit trying. If it happened, it happened. One of my best friends just had a baby in November so baby fever ramped up. I started taking Vitex and got some OPK sticks. Right now, my cycles are around 60 days. I don't think I'm ovulating but I guess I could be. I'm on CD 11 today. I think I'm gonna start taking Robitussin to thin the cm. Yesterday, found out my best friend of 25 years is now expecting her first. I'm starting to feel desperate. Any tips?

First and foremost, i would get a different doc. Aren't you the one paying for the IUI, so why would they decline based on weight? I am 35 have PCOS and have been ttc for 5 years (another baby). I did the clomid and the IUI. I just finished a clomid cycle (150mg) with pregnyl HCG shot to ovulate. I am DPO7day. (crossing fingers) Find a doc that will work with you not against you! Wishing you the best!!!

Thank you! He said it would be "unethical" to do IUI on an overweight patient. I really would like to see if I can do it on my own but its about that time to say enough is enough and do what I have to. I live in a rural area and the fertility specialist my insurance requires me to use is roughly 80 miles away. I think I will do what I'm doing now for another six months and then see another doctor if I'm not pregnant. Good luck to you!
