Hi,
I've tried both and to be honest I didn't find much difference. The good thing with preseed is that you get applicators so you can insert it inside the vag making less mess (or you can buy syringes on Amazon real cheap to use with any brand). I would pop some in before and use some after and pop in a soft cup (or menstrual cup of choice) so I could keep "everything" next to my cervix for an hour or so.. Before using the cups I would put a pillow under my butt after dtd but it's not comfy!!!
The things we do My head was in a spin choosing too, think it's more about altering the ph to be sperm friendly and any of them will do that.
